Manuscript Preparation
Authors are kindly requested to adhere to the submission criteria outlined by the International Journal of Economics, Finance and Sustainable Development (IJEFSD) to ensure a smooth submission and review process. Manuscripts that do not meet the following guidelines may face delays or rejection. Submissions should be made via email or through the online submission system at editor@researchparks.org.
Submission Guidelines:
- All manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
- A cover letter must accompany the manuscript submission. This letter should include the title of the manuscript, a brief summary of the research, and the author’s contact information.
- Authors publishing research involving animals or human participants must provide appropriate ethical approval. For research involving humans, a notarized letter of approval from the relevant Ethics Committee or Institutional Review Board (IRB) should be attached.
- Manuscripts must be written using Times New Roman font, size 12 pt, with single line spacing, in A4 page layout.
- Tables and Figures should be placed within the manuscript and cited sequentially. Material in tables should not be duplicated in figures, and vice versa.
- References must be formatted using the American Psychological Association (APA) referencing style, with citations in the appropriate places throughout the manuscript.
Format & Style:
The manuscript should be organized in the following order:
- Title: The title should be concise and descriptive, explaining the essence of the research. The title page should contain the manuscript title, the author's full name, affiliation, and the corresponding author's contact details, including postal address, phone number, fax, and email address. The title must be specific and directly related to the content of the article, avoiding abbreviations. All species and plant names must be italicized. Font size: 14, Times New Roman, Bold, Line Spacing: 1, Maximum of 120 characters.
- Author Information: The author's name(s) and affiliation(s) should follow the title. Font size: 12, Times New Roman, Normal, Line Spacing: 1.
- Abstract and Keywords: The abstract should summarize the content of the article, not exceeding 300 words and no less than 100 words. The abstract must be written in both English and Bahasa Indonesia. Please include 3–5 keywords for indexing purposes. Font size: 11, Line Spacing: 1.
- Introduction: This section should briefly explain the rationale for the study, provide background context (without an exhaustive review), and state the research objectives in one sentence.
- Materials and Methods: This section should describe the materials used in the research and the methods employed in detail so that other researchers can replicate the study. Include brand names and company locations for equipment and instruments used. Ethical clearances for the research should also be noted here. Indicate statistical methods used and report significance levels using superscripts (*P<0.05, **P<0.01).
- Results: The findings of the research should be presented in a clear and systematic manner. Avoid repeating data in both tables and figures. Data presented in tables should not be re-stated in the text unless necessary for context.
- Discussion: This section should interpret the results and compare them with those of other studies. There is no need to repeat the results or review literature that is not closely related to the research.
- Conclusion: This section should summarize the main findings and link them back to the research objectives. Recommendations for future research or practical applications should also be included.
- References: All cited references should be in APA format (7th edition). A minimum of 80% of references should come from peer-reviewed journal articles published within the last 10 years.
Units and Symbols:
- Manuscripts must adhere to the International System of Units (SI Units). Use standard symbols for Greek letters (e.g., alpha (α), beta (β), mu (µ), pi (π), etc.).
Tables:
- Tables should be summarized and cited sequentially in the manuscript text using Arabic numerals (e.g., Table 1, Table 2, etc.). The headings of the tables should clearly reflect the content, and sufficient details should be included in the footnotes to allow interpretation without referring back to the text.
- Table format: The tables should be created using Microsoft Word’s table tool and formatted as follows:
- Example: Table 1: [Title] (Font size: 12, Times New Roman, Normal, Line Spacing: 1)
Figures:
- Figures (including photographs, diagrams, charts, and drawings) should be clear, legible, and cited sequentially in the text using Arabic numerals (e.g., Fig. 1, Fig. 2, etc.). Provide high-quality images at 1.5 to 2 times the size at which they will be reproduced.
- Figures should be presented in black and white or color (if required), with proper labeling. All symbols must be standard, and handwritten or typewritten letters are not acceptable.
- Figures with multiple parts (e.g., a composite image) should be labeled as A, B, C, etc. The captions for each figure must include enough detail to allow the reader to understand the content without referring to the text.
- Example: Figure 1: [Title] (Font size: 12, Times New Roman, Normal, Bold)
Non-compliance:
- Manuscripts that do not meet the submission requirements outlined in the Instructions for Authors will be rejected outright.
