Methods for experimental evaluation of the real noise immunity of digital linear paths
Abstract
The most important and urgent problem is an objective assessment of the quality of information transmission over a communication channel. Until now, this problem has been dealt with in practice very limited, and, as a rule, subjective assessment methods have been used. An attempt to substantiate the need to move from subjective methods of quality assessment to objective ones will allow, first of all, to automate the control process, eliminate the element of subjectivity, increase the accuracy of the assessment and significantly reduce economic costs. Methods for estimating the parameters of CLT by the error rate, the main parameters of digital paths to be measured, and the norms for them are considered.
