Abstract

This study aims to develop a health education module in improving the healthy behavior of the elderly in Pariaman City, West Sumatra Province. This research is research (Research and Development- R&D) using the Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, & Evaluation (ADDIE) model. This research was conducted in Pariaman City, West Sumatra Province. Data collection techniques used a needs analysis questionnaire and interview guidelines. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques in the form of percentages. The validation of the health education module in improving the healthy behavior of the elderly is determined based on the expert's response. The practicality of the health education module in improving the healthy behavior of the elderly is determined based on the expert's response to the practicality of this module. From the results of this study, a health education module in improving the healthy behavior of the elderly by producing a product in the form of a health education module book in improving the healthy behavior of the elderly that was valid and practical to use. The findings in this study can be used by the elderly in improving the healthy behavior of the elderly in Pariaman City, West Sumatra Province.
